In fact, I can tell you with 100% certainty that you will have to put in some work to make money. The company gets such high marks because the structure of their business opportunity is completely different from all the ones I have seen.

Pros
The products are great
It’s always so much easier to promote quality products. If the products are good, you have a much better chance of making consistent sales. Simple as that.
Chloe and Isabel offers quality products at reasonable prices. Their products have gotten numerous endorsements from top-rated magazines and celebrities.
It is cheap to become a Merchandiser
Paying $175 for a starter kit with no monthly recurring costs and no inventory requirements is easily the best deal you are going to get to join any business opportunity.
Convenient for Merchandisers
The only sales requirement is that you make one sale or one purchase within a 6-month period.
This gives Merchandisers a whole 6 months to get their business up and running, with no pressure. This is a million times better than most other companies offer. Other companies have inventory requirements and monthly auto-ship costs, which puts a lot pressure on their consultants.
Also, if you’re not able to make one sale within a 6-month period, this business (or network marketing) is probably not for you anyway. Maybe you should check out a program that can teach you how to build a business promoting anything straight from your home.
The company hand-picks Merchandisers
Obviously, this isn’t 100% good because it means some people who would like to become Merchandisers wouldn’t get the chance.
However, one of the problems a lot of distributors face is over-saturation. It would be so much more difficult to make substantial income from any opportunity if there are thousands of people within your neighbourhood promoting the same company.
The application and interview process used by Chloe and Isabel eliminates the problem of over-saturation and also makes it easier to oversee the practices of its consultants (merchandisers).
There is no recruiting
This is the probably the biggest factor that led to the high ranking I gave this company.
Merchandisers do not have the luxury of deciding to only recruit people. They are restricted to inviting only one person per month, which puts a stop to the recruiting nonsense that happens at MLMs and other direct-selling companies.
I’m not sure whether anyone invited by a Merchandiser automatically gets accepted to become a Merchandiser or they still have to go through the interview process and I also do not know whether Merchandisers get compensated in any way for inviting people to join the opportunity.

Potential for web-based business
As you will soon find out, I’m not really much of a pop-up show type of guy. The fact that this company gives Merchandisers the option to promote their products on the internet is one of the things I like about the company.

They have a virtual learning program that walks you through the basics of running a successful business. Add to that the weekly live training sessions and the mentors assigned to each Merchandiser, and I would say Chloe and Isabel does well in the area of support.

Pop-up Shows

Personally, I’m not a big fan of this hosting shows thing direct-selling companies do. I’m not an extremely sociable person and I think the whole party-hosting idea is too traditional.
I also have a problem with the whole idea of starting your business with your friends and family. I mean, they offer good products and it is a convenient place to start but it’s ultimately not a way to run a business.
Another thing is the Pop-up shop is supposed to be a showcase of the company’s products and you might have to purchase those products.
I used the word “might” because some products come with the starter kit and you could choose to use those as your sample products. However, if you want other products not included in the starter kit, you will have to purchase them.
Extent of training
I chatted with a Merchandiser before I wrote this review to find out what level of training the company provides. Their simple answer was Social Marketing training.
What I really wanted to find out was if the company teaches SEO techniques and it appears they don’t. It’s probably unfair to expect them to teach you SEO techniques but the fact they don’t means you would probably have to pay to get traffic if you want to operate a web-based business.
If your mentor knows and can teach you some SEO techniques, that’s great. If not, you will have to rely on things like Facebook Ads to get traffic and these things cost money. Granted, if your campaigns are successful, you will make profits. However, if they are not successful, you will lose money.
How I would promote Chloe and Isabel
I already said I’m not a big fan of hosting parties to sell products. That leaves me with using the internet to promote their products.
With the knowledge I already have, there are several pathways I could follow as a Merchandiser. I could:
- Create a website and drive traffic to Chloe and Isabel using SEO techniques
- Start-up a successful Facebook Ad campaign to get targeted leads to the company
- Promote the products to an already existing list of email subscribers
Why would I bother with hosting Pop-up shows when I could do all these from the comfort of my home?
By the way, these are techniques I would use to promote absolutely any business, not just Chloe and Isabel.
Is Chloe and Isabel a Scam?
Absolutely not! Chloe and Isabel is a completely legitimate company that sells jewelry and fashion-related products. They also give Merchandisers a good opportunity to be successful.
Is Chloe and Isabel a Pyramid Scheme?
Certainly not! There is no recruiting in this company. Therefore, there is no pyramid, which means there is no way Chloe and Isabel can be a pyramid scheme.
Also, they do not have monthly auto-ship costs to exploit Merchandisers or have strict sales requirements to put Merchandisers under immense pressure.
The business opportunity is all about offering people the chance to make money by promoting their products.
