InstaNiche Review: Avoid this One like the Plague!

September 30, 2016 by Amedu 4 Comments

What is InstaNiche about? Is InstaNiche a scam? How does it work? Let’s answer these questions in this review, shall we?

What is InstaNiche

InstaNiche Review

PRODUCT NAME: InstaNiche
Price: $39 for Lite version; $47 for Pro version
Overall Ranking: 5/100
Owners: Mo Miah and John Gibb
Verdict: Scam
Our Recommendation: Instaniche is affiliate marketing gone rogue. The basic concept is the same but they try to con the whole process and this gives you zero chance of making money using their program. If you want to build a business, you will want to build it the real way and get actual training.

Introduction

This is the kind of program that gets people excited. I’m not quite sure how I even came across InstaNiche but it sure as hell got me excited when I first saw what they claimed to be offering. Apparently, they offer you a platform that automatically picks a profitable niche for you, picks out the most profitable keywords in that niche, creates unique content for those keywords and creates the website for you. All these things happen within 60 seconds!

These profitable keywords the system picks out for you are supposed to be action keywords – keywords targeting people already at the buying stage, they assure you the website is well optimized to rank on search engines and after that, it is income galore!! The owners are so confident in they system they have created that they even offer to refund you double the amount you paid for the program!

Do you now understand why I was excited about InstaNiche? Chances are you too got excited about this program and decided to scope around looking for confirmation of this excitement, then you stumbled across this review somehow.

Well…I hate to break it to you, but InstaNiche does not work anywhere close to how they claim it works. If their idea was squeaky clean, it would definitely be going for thousands of dollars instead of a paltry $47 one-time payment.

After reading complaints about how the owners of InstaNiche have refused to refund people their money and how Paypal has been forced to a corner with a digital products policy, I did not risk putting any money on this program. However, I will show you why I am 100% sure that the claims of InstaNiche are bogus and false.

What is InstaNiche?

InstaNiche is a program that helps you create an affiliate website from some pre-selected proven niches and they suggest the keywords and niche products for you. They also hook you up with content, Amazon affiliate links and social share buttons on this website.

The official definition they give in the sales video is a lot more catchy…

InstaNiche is a cloud-based software that researches, customizes, optimizes, monetizes and even builds out fully-fledged profitable Amazon niche affiliate sites in just 60 seconds.

How Do They Claim it Works?

Is instaniche a scam

According to them, there are only 6 steps and 60 seconds standing between you and a potential 4 or 5-figure income earning website right now. These steps are:

(1) Pay $39 for the Lite Version (only one website) or $47 for the Pro Version (Multiple websites)

(2) Select a Niche

In the screenshot above, we can see three suggested niches: dogs, helicopters and blenders. They have 50+ niches they could recommend to you.

(3) Pick Keywords

After you get past the niche selection stage, the next phase is where you get to pick your keywords. The suggest a couple of keywords and ask you to pick 3 keywords you would like to website to be based around. After that, you select the main keyword out of the 3 you would like your website to rank for.

(4) Add Content

There is an existing list of content articles related to your selected niche that you can add to your site. They claim these are unique and well written, but what else would you expect them to say?

I have read complaints online that the articles are poorly written with a lot of grammatical mistakes. I also know that the articles are duplicate articles, meaning you can kiss goodbye to any possible rankings on Google from the very beginning!

(5) Choose the Products

These are supposed to be the hot selling products within your chosen niche. There is an existing list of these products and you are supposed to select a couple of them to list on your website. There is a form to fill in your Amazon affiliate ID so that the products will contain your affiliate links.

(6) Build the Website

The stage is simply to click a button and have everything put together for you. This website will have the articles you selected and the products you picked with your affiliate links on them. InstaNiche claims they provide hosting for this website as well, but who knows?

How it Really Works

Let’s say you go through all the 6 steps mentioned above, then what next? The whole point of paying for the program and doing everything up to building a website is to rank on Google and make commissions right?

Well, you will NOT. Why? Because Google does not rank duplicate content to begin with. Even if the content they provide is unique, it will be nearly impossible to rank for the keywords the InstaNiche system recommends.

Let’s do a brief case study using the niche and keywords they used in the InstaNiche sales video..

They chose the dog niche and picked these 3 keywords: Dog clickers, Dog whistles and Dog Beds & Furniture. “Dog Beds & Furniture” is what they chose as their main keyword in the sales video.

Heading over to the WA Keyword Research Tool, I did a little bit of digging on each of these keywords. Here is what I found:

screen-shot-2016-09-30-at-2-02-41-am

That is 196 web pages currently competing for the keyword “dog clickers”. Note that some of these are websites that are continually being updated with new quality content regularly. You stand no chance of ranking on the first page for this keyword with the website you create on InstaNiche,

Let’s take a look at the second keyword “dog whistles”.

screen-shot-2016-09-30-at-2-09-52-am

This keyword is even worse than the first one! There are 394 web pages currently optimized for the keyword “dog whistles”. Remember that to make any form of consistent income, you are going to want to be among the top 10 for the given keyword. There is absolutely no chance you could rank for this unless you are ready to be posting consistent quality content for years. Even then, it still is not a guarantee.

Unto their final and main keyword “Dog beds & furniture”

screen-shot-2016-09-30-at-2-15-00-am

The competition metric is less than the other two keywords, but the competition is still too much for a low-quality website to rank for. Do a search of “dog beds and furniture” on Google and see the results that turn up.We are looking at high authority domains like Wayfair, Etsy, Amazon, Costco, Dog.com, etc. Good luck beating those sites with your handful of poorly written content.

If you think I’m talking BS and still want to think this program is the real deal, ask yourself this question. Why is the website they created in the InstaNiche sales video not showing up in your search of “dog beds & furniture”? They assured you your site will rank, so why is theirs not ranking?

More Reasons Why InstaNiche is BS

The biggest proof that this is a downright scam is their claim that FitnessRocks.org was created using their platform. How do I know it wasn’t? InstaNiche was formed in 2016 while Fitness Rocks was created in 2006! How could a platform created in 2016 create a website in 2006? I am confused.

More reasons they are BS:

  • The clocking down tactic (pictured right)screen-shot-2016-09-29-at-8-54-03-pm
  • They try to upsell you products after joining, some of which are worth up $1000
  • You don’t get access to your website dashboard after creating it
  • This means you don’t get to edit the poor content they put on the website
  • This also means you don’t get to add more content to make an attempt at boosting your rankings
  • The owners will not give you a refund like they promised in their sales pitch
  • Paypal will not give you a refund due to their digital protection rules
  • Everything could still be alright if you transfer your website to your own hosting BUT you would need the owners to respond first, wouldn’t you?

Who is InstaNiche for?

Nobody deserves to fall for this sort of blatant scam. Most people with any prior experience with any online programs would be able to detect this is a scam from a mile away. Unfortunately, I think their target audience would be complete newbies to internet marketing. Run away from these guys like the plague, please.

Closing Thoughts

Looking at the idea but ignoring the execution, I would say it is a pretty interesting concept. If somehow someone somewhere was able to properly execute the creation of a system that could recommend potential high-ranking keywords and build a website with content around these keywords, that system will no doubt be a no-brainer. Unfortunately, such a system does not exist at this time.

I really don’t think I would want anybody or system to do my keyword research for me to be honest. Keyword research is a huge part of the fun I have with doing internet marketing. I’m afraid you will have to do your own keyword research and write your own content until a legitimate automated system is created to handle these tasks for you.

It really is not hard to do when you have access to the right training and tools. In fact, it is fun!
