Overall, I think Legging Army is a pretty decent MLM company. However, as far as I know, they don’t offer in-depth training on how to get leads or teach you how to build a website.

Pros

The leggings are high quality

I won’t pretend to be a legging’s expert here, because I’m not. However, I am yet to see a negative review about this company’s leggings and this speaks volumes of the quality of their products. Everyone thinks the leggings are so awesome and I believe them.

From an affiliate’s perspective, it’s always so much easier to promote high quality products than it is to promote crap.

The prices are reasonable

Having high quality products available at affordable prices is always great for affiliates.

Why? Because it leaves them with real potential to make a lot of sales. At these prices, a lot of your leads would probably end up getting more than one pair of leggings.

There is a huge market for the products

I don’t need to go into how hot the demand for leggings is at the moment. I’m sure you already know there’s a huge demand for this product.

The quality, catchiness and price of the products make it so much easier to make sales to people in your warm market and elsewhere.

With proper training, you could reach an even bigger audience on the internet who would gladly purchase these products.

It is cheap to become an affiliate

I don’t think it comes cheaper than $25 to join any MLM company. If there is indeed a cheaper sign-up fee somewhere else, I’m yet to see it.

You pay $25 to become an affiliate, there are no monthly recurring fees, there are no sales and inventory requirements. This is absolutely perfect when compared to other MLMs, I’m telling you!

They are more web-based

Most MLMs rely on hosting “parties” to sell products. Not just that, they also rely on the “selling to your warm market” approach that is almost always destined to fail.

It’s refreshing to see a company that keeps things web-focused. Your primary task is to drive traffic to their site via your affiliate link and they will take it from there. No need for parties or stocking inventory unless you want to.

Every Friday is payday with Legging Army. I always prefer affiliate programs that pay commissions via Paypal instead of checks.

Seems like the folks at Legging Army take proper care of their affiliates. No inventory requirements, no pressure to make sales, cheap affiliate sign-up fee and affiliates get 25% discount off their own purchases.

Cons

The extent of training

As soon as you complete the sign-up process, you get your own unique referral link and I guess this could count as a free website.

The problem is there is only so little you could do with this website. You can only get traffic there via word of mouth or through social media and I cannot even confirm if Legging Army teaches you how to do this.

Your best bet of getting targeted traffic through social media is by setting up ads. With this kind of website, there is a high chance your ads wouldn’t be approved and even if they are, it costs money to build ad campaigns.

Granted, you could make the money back with a successful ad campaign, but you could also lose money unnecessarily if you don’t know what you’re doing.

My preferred way would be for you to set up your own website and this gives you the option to either get free traffic via SEO, advertise or both.

The product prices

I know I mentioned this as a good thing in the sense that it increases your chances of getting lots of leads. However, if you’re not able to get lots of leads, your commission per sale is quite low because of how cheap the products are.

Their most expensive leggings cost $20. You get 25% commission per sale. That’s a maximum of $5 per product sale. To make $100, you will need to make 20 sales.

Now, this shouldn’t be so hard to do because of the quality, price and demand for the product. I’m just saying that if you’re not able to get lots of leads, you won’t be making a reasonable amount of money.

Affiliate Enrolment Fee

Yes, as cheap as the fee is, I don’t like it!

Overall, I would like to think this is a positive review of Legging Army. Some people would read this review and immediately decide to become Legging Army affiliates. Yet, I do not get any compensation for it.

Why? Because I’ve not come around to paying the $25 enrolment fee solely to earn commissions from promoting the opportunity. Legging Army isn’t giving me anything, so I don’t understand what I’m paying for.

Typically, the difference between an affiliate and an MLM distributor is affiliates don’t have to pay to promote, while distributors have to.

I might end up paying the $25 enrolment fee to become an affiliate but I just haven’t come around to doing that just yet.

Complaints

Of everything I have mentioned here, this is the most worrying thing for me.

I have read complaints from affiliates and customers alike complaining about Legging Army’s customer service and I find this to be a big problem. The popular complaints are the inconsistency with shipping times and the fact that customer service does not respond to calls and emails.

Before you start thinking this wouldn’t affect you as an affiliate, hold on a minute.

Remember you’re dealing with people who could easily get angry and cancel their orders. If they cancel or return, you don’t earn anything. Besides, affiliates that order products to sell directly will get caught up in the same shipping mess.

How You Earn

The hard part and the only thing you have to do is drive traffic to the Legging Army website via your affiliate link. Everything else is pretty much handled for you.

When someone clicks on your affiliate link, a 7-month cookie is stored on their computer.

What this means is, if the user clicks on your link and doesn’t make a purchase immediately, you will still get a commission if they decide to make a purchase within a 7-month period.

For every sale made through your link, you get a 25% commission.

If someone signs up to become an affiliate after clicking your link, you get a $5 sub affiliate referral commission. In addition to that, you get 5% sub affiliate sales commission for each sale that affiliate makes for as long as they remain affiliates.

Frankly, I find the Legging Army business model pretty swell. I love it!

Is Legging Army a Scam?

Absolutely not! I don’t think an MLM company could get any more legit than Legging Army.

They sell high quality products at affordable prices, they are gracious to their affiliates, they have managed to numb recruiting and they focus more on promoting their products.

I can’t think of any reason to call Legging Army a scam.

My Final Thoughts

If you truly love their leggings enough to want to promote them, then I would say go for it. There is a good structure in place for you to succeed as a Legging Army affiliate.

You could even become a Legging Army affiliate just to take advantage of the 25% discount.

If you would like to promote more than just leggings, I recommend you build your own online business where you can promote just about anything, including leggings.
