Learn how to check your site ranking for a particular keyword you are targeting in your posts and pages.
Keywords are the bane of writing content and writing content is the bane of making money online. The importance of keywords to the success of your online business cannot be stated enough. In order to know how close you are to being actually making money online, you will want to know how well your keywords are doing on search engines.
When you write your first few posts, it is very easy to manually check search engines or other online tools for the ranking of every one of your keywords. But what happens when you have 20+ posts?
At this stage you will not even remember your keywords, especially the earlier ones. That is why it is imperative you are hooked up with the right tools to keep track of all of your keywords in one place.
In this post, I will be suggesting some of the tools I use to keep track of how well I am doing on search engines with my target keywords.
Keyword Ranking Checker Tools
(1) JAAXY (Recommended)
I put Jaaxy as number one because it offers a lot more than checking your keyword rankings. It is,in fact, the all-in-one keyword tool.
In addition to SiteRank, Jaaxy offers the most comprehensive keyword metrics, domain name availability, training videos, affiliate program search, a brainstorm feature and more.
They have 3 account types:
- Free Account
- Pro Account
- Enterprise Account
Having said that, Jaaxy might not be the long-term solution to what you need right now unless you would not mind paying for a Pro account.
In the long-run when you have started making money online, I’m sure you would not mind paying for all these luxuries. Personally, I have only ever signed up for the Free account which only gives you about 20 searches ever. I am only able to get by without using Jaaxy because I already have access to a free keyword tool within Wealthy Affiliate and the only other feature that is an absolute necessity for me is the keyword checker.
If what you are truly interested in is a complete easy-to-use keyword tool that does not give you all the irrelevant extra metrics other keyword tools provide, go for Jaaxy.
If what you want is solely a keyword rank checker tool, you could still sign up for a free Jaaxy account but I have something specifically meant for keyword rank checking…
(2) SERPLAB
Because I did not feel like paying for Jaaxy Pro, I had to look for other alternatives that would conveniently track where my keywords are ranking for me.
I think I got to hear about SERPLAB Checker through the recommendation of someone within the WA community. It is exactly everything I wanted, and for FREE too.
The catch is: the bots only search through each of your websites once every 24 hours without paying. If you want the bots to check each of your websites more often, you are going to have hire more bots.
So far, SERPLAB has been doing a great job for me. But if I ever had the need to pay, I would just pay for Jaaxy instead.
There you go. I hope this post has helped you in some way.
Whether it was helping find a fresh keyword tool that shows you only the stats you need and can understand or a great free keyword manager. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Hey Robert,
I’m not quite sure why you are even doing this but I really do appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

Hello Amendu.
Why did I do what I did is because I really liked the tone of your blog posts about making money online in comparison to some other websites and blog posts that focus in on products and services related to the make money online niche, including some by other WA members. In general I am very impressed with Wealthy Affiliate and many of the members I have encountered online. I am a free member and have not yet made the jump to light speed. I am tempted. Anyway, you seem to really care about what you are doing and it isn’t all about you getting people to give you money. My “feeling” is that you would be willing to work with a person who joined WA through you. My only caution to anyone who does this: “Sure, Amendu will do everything in his power to help you succeed…BUT you are going to have to really get into it, too. That means doing the stuff you are advised to do. If you do the doing part and really chase after knowledge and APPLY that know-how…you are going to get results, also known as making money online. Do you want that? Great, join and get to work.”
Amendu, let me know what you think.
Regards,
Robert Farmilo
