How I Found AdCrump
I found out about AdCrump when I logged into My 24 Hour Income account. I usually go back to programs I have joined in order to get myself up to speed on what’s new and update my reviews accordingly. Before heading into the back office of My 24 Hour Income, I saw an advertisement of AdCrump and decided to check it out as well. I will be giving my two cents on this new platform in this review.
An Overview – What is AdCrump?
AdCrump is another revenue sharing (RevShare) platform that shares all of its revenue from the sale of advertising products to its members. It was officially launched on September 2nd, 2016 and is owned by Corey Winkelman.
Like most of these RevShare platforms, AdCrump claims that what they mainly offer is highly targeted advertising and the revenue sharing bit is just an additional benefit that comes with being a member.
**UPDATE: It appears AdCrump has shut down less than a month into its existence. The website is down, Corey Winkelman has closed his Facebook page and is nowhere to be found, the AdCrump Facebook page has been shut down as well.
For this reason, I took off most of the details of AdCrump I had previously written in this review because they don’t matter anymore and I am rewriting this as a pep talk about RevShare programs and why you should not join them at all. This is probably going to my shortest post ever!
The Thing with RevShare Programs
As someone that writes reviews, I can tell you that reviews on RevShare programs are among the easiest to write. The technicalities are obvious and the my message about them is always the same. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to convince readers not to join. For this reason, I just explain the facts and try not to put too much emphasis on them not joining because they won’t listen.
Members of these RevShare programs and others who read my review and still joined them anyway sometimes come on this website and leave comments telling me how much they have made from the program in such little time. How then do I convince people that a program is a scam when they have a huge opportunity to earn money while it is still existing?
The bit “while it is still existing” is the key phrase in this case. My message about RevShare programs has always been and will always be the same: There is way too much uncertainty to invest any money in the program. There is the possibility the owner could just decide to disappear, the owner could decide to move your money to another program, the SEC could shut them down, recruiting could run dry and force the program to shut down. There are just too many variables involved. Here is the worst part about this:
Some take longer than others to shut down, but they always eventually shut down somehow.
AdCrump garnered huge traffic heading into their launch. In fact, their Alexa ranking is still 75,000 right now even though their website has been down for over 5 days now. You can only imagine the number of people that have lost a lot of money to this program. At the moment, the program is non-existent and these people will NOT be getting their money back.
There were no red flags, no hints, no warnings, nothing. The program was okay the previous day and disappeared into thin air the next day. That, my friends, is the unfortunate nature of the RevShare business.
I signed up for AdCrump to write this review 2 days before the website shut down. They sent out an email the day before saying they were going to carry out maintenance on their website. My first thought when the website went down was that it was simply website maintenance and they would be back up ASAP. This thought quickly vanished as I found out Corey Winkelman deleted his Facebook account and the AdCrump group page.
I’ll end with this
I feel bad for the people that invested their hard earned money into this scam but if there is anything you can take away from this, it is: The truth is there really isn’t a legitimate way to quickly earn money online. You might succeed in doing it for a while but it’s going to be short-lived.
You can earn sumptuous money for a long time if you are willing to put in the required amount of work to earn it. The principles of building an offline business also apply to building an online business. You will invest a lot of time in the beginning and not get rewarded for it immediately, but the work you put becomes well worth it when you eventually start reaping the benefits.
And who says working hard has to be boring anyway? I worked hard, had fun working hard and I still work hard until this day. And guess what? I now own a couple of online businesses making me cool cash. 🙂
