An Introduction…
I came across this somewhere on Facebook in what looked like an actual news article showing how somebody earned over $10,000 a month for doing close to no work. Headlines like this loosen some screws in me, so I went ahead and clicked on it. Turns out this linked to a landing page promoting Online Wealth Markets, rather than a real news website as portrayed in the thumbnail and caption.
There is a popular saying that “you only get one shot to make a good first impression” and if my first experience with Online Wealth Markets was them tricking me to their landing page, you can understand that my hopes of getting something real dropped massively.
It was there and then I decided to write this review. It will help many that probably saw the same or a similar news headline, clicked on it, and are contemplating on whether to go ahead or not.
Where do you go when you want to find out verified information about a program or service? Their website. I went to their website and this is what I got. I live in Canada by the way.
What even got most of my attention is the fact that the captions reads “…this offer”. They did not call it “this service” or “this platform”, but instead “this offer”!
I went on Google and did a search on the program to see if they moved websites, and I found a website with the exact same Domain name just with a .org extension this time. I clicked on it, and it turns out to be a review single page trying to get you to sign up to Online Wealth Markets. They also have a .net website which is very similar to the .org site.

What is Online Wealth Markets and How does it Work?
Online Wealth Markets is a binary trading software that disguises itself as an online job or online business opportunity. Everyone promoting this program on social media and on their websites describes this as the best way to work from home or start an online career, but they stop short of telling you what this program actually is.
The website did not open on my computer, but, for some weird reason, it did open on my phone. I don’t understand it because the two devices are in the same location, but that’s what happened.
The Online Wealth Markets homepage is the typical sales page of scam programs that try to make a desperate call to action. You are greeted with some sob story about a struggling single mom who suddenly stumbled upon Online Wealth Markets, and started making millions in a couple of months.
They create the illusion, even with their sign-up box, that you are indeed applying for a job. What is annoying to me is that they speak nothing of the “position” you are apparently applying for. They also use terms like “payday” and “paycheque”. Much like Millionaire BizPro and many others that I have reviewed, they create a false impression that you are running out of time to sign up and there are only a few spaces left.
Sign up and the “Job” Itself…
I was not entirely surprised to see them asking for my telephone number on the sign-up form because I was required to fill in the same information on Google Trader (not in any way or form affiliated with Google).
I was reluctant at first but for the sake of this review, I did it anyway. Sigh, the things I do for you guys! If you are here to get help in deciding whether to put in your phone number too, DON’T. You will soon find out why you do not want to give them your phone number.
After filling up the form and submitting, you are directed straight to the payment page. Remember you still have not been told anything about what they are offering. The only thing they’ve given you is “you can work from home”.
Since you are already on the payment page without any concrete information on the job they are offering, it is clear they have not intention to tell you until you have paid. By the way, what kind of job requires you to pay to get hired??
I could not help but notice a timer on the left running down from 5 minutes. I refreshed the page and the clock restarted. LOL talk of desperation! Anyway, I did not pay the $5 because I knew they would call me with the phone number I filled out in the form…..And they did within 5 minutes!
If they had not called, I would have sacrificed $5 for you guys…Trust me 🙂
Over the course of my conversation with the Online Wealth Markets customer service agent, he told me I would have to invest a minimum of $250 with Banc de Binary, the recommended broker of Online Wealth Markets. I asked if this was the job they were talking about and he said yes, that most people make profits on their $250 investment within a few days.
When he sensed I was still not going to bulge on this $250 investment, he offered me a bonus: If I completed the creation of my account before the weekend ends, I will get a $100 bonus and a risk-free account for a few days. I had gotten all the information I wanted on the program, so I told him I will decide in a few days.
First of all, I think it was reckless for the agent to disclose all that information to me considering I had not even made the initial $5 payment. I like that he did though 😉 So now that we have established that OWM is a cover for binary trading software and the “job” is binary trading, let us talk a little bit about Binary Trading software…
What is Binary Trading Software?
There are two possible outcomes: Win or lose. Hence, the word “binary”. Binary Trading is somewhat similar to gambling.

All you need to do is put your money on if an asset’s price will rise or drop within a short period of time. If your guess is right, you gain profits on the amount you put down. You sign up for $5, and you are required to pay a minimum of $250 to stand a chance of making any money. So the real price of joining Online Wealth Markets is $255.
Considering there is a very high chance you will lose all of that money, I think you should be considering some cheaper alternatives. Some of these cheaper alternatives let you sign up for FREE!
Closing Thoughts
While I do not think Binary Trading itself is a scam, Online Wealth Markets definitely is! They hide under an umbrella of “work from home” when in fact they are a binary trading software.
I am sure 95% of the people considering this program were not initially looking to go into binary trading but were simply looking for a way to make money online from home. People with the skills have the ability to make money using binary trading but if you are a complete newbie, chances are you will lose all your money. I do not recommend binary trading (guessing) as the way to have real success online anyway.

They should’ve said that they are selling Binary Trading software. It will make people not suspicious.
But again, maybe they just want to get that $5 from a lot of people.
Their target isn’t real Binary traders, so they had to mask their program somehow. $5 from thousands of people would bring in a lot of money. Out of the thousands of people, some will not walk out the door immediately. They still stick around and invest at least $250. That is more money for Online Wealth Markets scam. The company is winning overall, people are losing badly. Thanks for reading.
I see stuff like Online Wealth Markets promoted on Facebook all the time through those dodgy looking websites but I’ve heard Facebook will soon be clamping down on scam ads, which will be awesome news for all of us. 🙂
It’s great to hear you conducted your research into this program because it will sure help others to stay well away. I really do hate these Binary scams because they suck you in with either free memberships or very low payments just so they can request $100’s in investments to get you started.
I know exactly what you mean about not giving your phone number away because I made that mistake with a binary system I was joined. As soon as I submitted my number, within 5 minutes I received a call from someone who was apparently “my coach.” The call came from Europe but because I never answered, they kept bugging me for a week, LOL. Hmmmm…. I wonder why?! But these scams give up eventually, until they find the next victim to target.
I’m definitely keeping Online Wealth Markets at arms length.

I would not bother writing reviews on binary scams if they made it clear from the beginning that they were offering a binary trading software. That way, unsuspecting individuals would not even consider joining it.
The scams still bug my phone every now and then. I got so sick of it that I had to download a call-blocking app! I think they distribute your number to a bunch of other companies affiliated with the broker, I’m not sure. What I know for sure is a bunch of all these scam companies have been ringing my phone continuously.

I saw the ad of Online Wealth Markets as a job, headed over to their website to see what kind of job. Later, I found myself at the point where they were asking me to pay 5 bucks to get a job I knew nothing about at this point.
