PRODUCT NAME: Traffic Power Line
Price: Free to sign up
Owners: Pearse Donnelly & Trevor Fuggle
Overall Ranking: 30/100
Verdict: Scam
Our Recommendation: This is another RevShare Ponzi scheme that will shut down eventually, regardless of what the owner believes. If you are considering this for the traffic, the traffic you will be getting is useless because it will not convert into sales. Kill two birds with one stone by learning a legit way to make money online and learning how to get free traffic on my top recommendation.
An Overview – What Exactly is Traffic Power Line About?
**I am updating this review because the Traffic Power Line’s newest overview video includes information that was not included in other pre-launch videos. Considering it was on the back of these pre-launch videos Traffic Power Line was able to sign up over 15,000 people before their launch, I should count these discrepancies and indecisiveness as a red flag in itself but I will just overlook them.
There has been a growing buzz among my social media circles about this program and as usual, I was curious enough to want to know about this program that was creating this much hype. I was willing to give this program the same amount of open mindedness I afforded My 24 Hour Income until I found out that this did not even offer any products. **No product whatsoever. I was not irritated doing the My 24 Hour Income review because at least they had the decency to mask the scam a little bit by offering affiliate products. That masking just might add a few more months or years to the lifespan of that company. Traffic Power Line do not offer any service either, and the only thing marketable are the membership levels within this program themselves.
**NB: From their latest overview video, they just might be offering some products. They claim to have an Internet Marketing educational library which was designed to hook you up with educational products that will teach you how to succeed online on a budget.
At the time of writing, these products are not yet available though and I will be updating this review as soon as they do become available. I am waiting to see if the products are real quality products – ones that are good enough to get people to TPL for the sole purpose of purchasing them.
Let me state now that I am writing this review based on what they claim to be offering and what I have seen after opening a free account with the program, I will leave the comments open for Traffic Power Line members and non-members alike to provide the most up to date information on the program. Whatever your thoughts are, please feel free to leave them here….Nice or Harsh. I can handle it ?
If you have been following the content on this website, you should know that there are certain programs you do not have to drill too much into. Looking at the surface, you should be able to tell if they are a scam. If they do not offer any real products and they do not offer any services, they are a SCAM. Whenever you are looking for something to help you earn money online, the first question you should be asking is: What is this program really offering me? If they are not offering any product or services, then why the heck will you put your money in the program?
Traffic Power Line and the likes of it do not offer you anything, but get you to offer them something (or some things). They charge you to sign up with them, and give you compensation for getting other people to sign up with them as well. In case you were not aware, it is not easy to get people to sign up for these kind of programs. If at all you are able to get people to sign up, you can make a few bucks here and there but nowhere close to making any form of substantial income. In fact, only around 5% of the people in these programs earn a decent amount of money. And by the way, this 5% includes the owners and top executives.
Do you wonder why it will be hard to get people to sign up to programs like Traffic Power Line? Because in general, most people are rational. A good percentage of people will not want to put their money into something that does not provide equal or more value than what they are investing. What products or services are you really promoting to these people that will add any value to them? Nothing. The website is not fully updated and looks cheap, and the confirmation email I got after signing up looks like a very cheap scam.
On the about page of Traffic Power Line, Pearse Donnelly and Trevor Fuggle are named as directors (not owners) of the company. After digging deeper, I discovered that Pearse Donnelly is co-director of an Adcredit Ponzi Scheme called Mo Brabus, which has been operating for around a year now. It appears this company is already on the verge of closing down, hence the need to create Traffic Power Line. This is a normal trend with classic ponzi schemes anyway, so I really do not see why Traffic PowerLine will not close down soon as well.
I found Trevor Fuggle’s profile even more interesting. Their about page says “Trevor has developed multiple software programs including our own in house forex trading software that has taken over 7 years to develop”. This is funny because I didn’t think this program had anything to do with Forex trading. There is a lot these guys are not telling you, and I am advising you to RUN away from this!
My disapproval of this program is not simply a personal opinion born out of nothing. It is based on what the SEC has said of another RevShare program that operates based on the same business model. More on this to come below..
What Traffic Power Line Claims…
They claim they do not do ineffective banner advertising, but provide high converting full website views to help increase your website’s Alexa rank and online conversions. Read this article about how important (or not) Alexa rankings are.
Now The Truth…
The full website views come from other Traffic Power affiliates. When you sign up, you will have to invest in credit packs. Within these credit packs, there are some bonus advertising credits. It is with these advertising credits, people within Traffic Power Line get to view your website. The more advertising credits you have, the more “traffic” you get. Let’s talk a little about these credit packs.
I also want to clarify something that was said in their overview video. In their words…
Buying TPL traffic drives more website visitors to your website and increases your websites Alexa rank. This will encourage search engines to consider your website, to rank in top positions of its search results giving you improved visibility of your brand.
There is just so much wrong with the above statement. First of all, I would not recommend that beginners (whom they say the program is meant for) buy traffic at all. Secondly, the aim of owning an online business is not to increase your site’s Alexa rank! Thirdly, they talk so much about websites but say nothing about how to build one. Lastly, your Alexa rank does not influence whether search engines rank your site in top positions or not.
Maybe we should talk more about this…
Free Organic Traffic Vs. Paid Traffic
TPL offers you the opportunity to pay for traffic to drive some visitors to your site, but why exactly would you want to do that? As a beginner, you should be looking to spend the least amount of money possible until you are able to build a business that will yield you profits. Why would you want to pay for TPL power affiliates to come to your site when it is almost certain they will add no value to your site, and you won’t make a buck off them?
As a beginner, you should be learning how to leverage free traffic. How do you get free traffic? By putting out quality content on your website and learning SEO techniques to get your site in the top pages on search engines. Contrary to what TPL would have you believe, you have to rank on search engines first before you get traffic and not the other way around. You do not buy traffic to get ranked on search engines. That is just not how it works!
Understanding Credit Packs
- Each credit pack costs $18
- UK Laws prohibit Traffic Power Line from imposing how much you resell credit packs for, but they suggest you sell them for $18
- You get 10% commission on every credit pack purchase your distributor referrals make
- You get 100% commission on every credit pack purchase your customer referrals make
- Distributors get 2 credit packs for the price of one
- Every credit pack contains 180 store and 180 website view credits
- Distributors cannot use the advertising or store credits
- Distributors must transfer these credits to their customers
The Traffic PowerLine Compensation Plan
There are a few ways to get paid using the Traffic Power Line Compensation Plan. Some parts of this compensation plan is similar to what you will find in typical MLM scams. With an investment of $18 on their credit packs (or “Traffic Packs”), they promise you will get some kind of 100-day Return on Investment (ROI).
Added to this, affiliates get $6 for every $18 credit pack investment they make within a 24-hour period. This means you recoup 33% of your investment, right?
Here is the catch: You do not get to keep the $6 (33%), but you must reinvest it back into getting more credit packs. Why can’t you decide what you want to do with your commission? Because Scam!
Other bits of the Compensation Plan
Referral Commission
Whenever your referral affiliate makes an investment on Traffic Packs, you will earn $1.80 as referral commission for each credit pack purchased.
Booster Pack ROIs
TPL offers “booster packs” that affords affiliates the opportunity to earn return on investments of up to $3000.
These booster packs are funded from the excesses found in the “surplus account” from investments company wide. This is similar to the referral commission pool on My 24 Hour Income. There are three levels of booster packs which are only available to affiliates who have managed to sign up two affiliates to join the program. The criteria for these levels of booster packs are:
- Booster Pack 1: Invest in at least 20 Traffic packs and must pay $360 for purchase of Booster Pack 1
- Booster Pack 2: Invest in at least 40 Traffic packs and must pay $720 for purchase of Booster Pack 2
- Booster Pack 3: Invest in at least 80 Traffic packs and must pay $1,440 for purchase of Booster Pack 3
PowerLine Bonus
The PowerLine Bonus is a percentage of the funds invested by an affiliate’s downline. Whenever I hear the term “downline”, I think Pyramid Scheme. And I’m sure you know Pyramid Schemes are illegal.
Traffic Power Line claims affiliates can earn as much as $296.10 per day using this bonus, I’m not quite sure how they ended up at this number though.
Leader Pool
Traffic Power Line has this feature where 5% of all funds invested into the company is set aside in the Leader Pool. This pool is broken down into 4 equal sections, each containing a quarter of the 5%. Members are placed in each of this sections based on their level of investment to the company. The breakdown is as follows:
- Diamond: Have signed up two affiliates, who in turn have recruited two affiliates each.
- Double Diamond: Have signed up four affiliates, who in turn have recruited two affiliates each.
- Triple Diamond: Have signed up six affiliates, who in turn have recruited two affiliates each.
- Blue Diamond: Have signed up 12 affiliates, who in turn have recruited two affiliates each.
Under no circumstances can any affiliate end up with more than 10% of the investment funds.
Price
It is free to sign up as a Traffic Power Line affiliate. However, Pearse Donnelly explicitly states you will require an initial investment of $54 to “get active”. Being active means you get the credit pack benefits and have the potential to build a team (downline).
The Business Model and the SEC
Before getting into the FAQ and SEC stuff, let us summarize the business model of Traffic Power Line. Once again, members and non-members are encouraged to disagree with me if they need to in the comments section. My summary of their Business model is: Selling affiliate products makes the program less of a scam and more of a legal opportunity, but a huge chunk of their revenue comes from member credit pack purchases. Correct?
Here is what the SEC had to say about the business model of another RevShare platform that just recently shut down, Traffic Monsoon:
More than 99% of Traffic Monsoon’s revenue comes from the sale of AdPacks. Traffic Monsoon could not pay returns to investors without the sale of new AdPacks. Traffic Monsoon is a classic Ponzi scheme in which investors are paid from money contributed from new investors, and there is little real business activity.
While Traffic Power Line is based in the UK and as such is governed by UK legislation rather than the SEC, a Ponzi scheme remains a Ponzi scheme. Ponzi schemes are investment operations which pay its existing investors from their own money, or money gotten from incoming investors. The moment new investors stop coming in, existing investors cannot be paid and the entire system crumbles.
Ponzi schemes are illegal in most countries, including countries in the UK!
Closing Thoughts
I do not question the motives of Pearse Donnelly to be honest. In his latest video, he tries to be as honest as possible about the work you need to put in the make possible earnings. He also admitted the Mo Brabus system is flawed, hence why he felt the need to correct it somehow. People who are in business just to take your money would not be so honest with you.
However, I still have my doubts over the sustainability of this business model. A link to the video below was posted on the dashboard of my TPL account. This is another program, Victory 100, talking to renowned MLM attorney Kevin Grimes about the legitimacy of their business model. I clicked on the link in the description and guess what? They have shut down. It is simply not sustainable. If the owners do not break the law, the distributors will.
There are safer ways to earn money online. Ways where you would not have to be worried about when your program will eventually shut down. How about you learn how to make money online the proper way by providing a service centred around something you actually love – an interest, hobby or passion? Do not waste any time and sign up for a Free Starter Lifetime account on my number one recommended training platform.

Traffic Powerline doesn’t seem to offer anything except commission for signing others. I really don’t understand how they get people to join their company without offering anything
Your #1 choice, WA, offers great training and the necessary tools you’ll need to operate your business from. That is why I not only joined but have remained there for over a year now.
Thank you

That’s all these fake programs have to offer. The worst part is in most cases, the commissions are not even worth the effort. Plus, it’s very likely you will not make any commissions. The mass birth of scam products these days is beyond sickening. Thanks for reading Mijareze.
Cheers,

Hey there+ great review. I had not heard of traffic powerline and based on what you said in your review they are not even worth checking them out!
It’s so bad that people are still creating such programs but all I have to say is to stay away. They will never end, and only with our rationalism and clear thinking we could push them back. No people sign in – no pyramid programs!
Thanks for putting it here, great article.
Medu says
Exactly! I wish it was simple, or even possible, to reach everybody in time to tell them not to sign up for pyramid schemes. I can only do my bit and hope people are smart enough to do their due diligence first before signing up for any program online – especially those one that want to take your money before you see what’s really happening. Traffic Power Line isn’t worth checking at all. Thanks for stopping by Alexey.
Cheers

There are always programs of this kind around the internet. The funny thing is that, as you said, you won’t see any of these programs lasting more than a couple of years before it collapses and closing its doors to the “money tree”.
It’s difficult to avoid the greed that this kind of programs produces. Fortunately, there are honest people like you, willing to tell the truth instead of joining those fake programs and persuading others. Because of these scammers, people tend to see online business as a big scam as well.
Medu says
Hey Adrian,
To be honest the hardest part of owning an online business in this niche is convincing people that you are indeed trying to help them, rather than scam them. There are so many scam programs around and so many people promoting these scam programs, that it becomes so hard to identify who is real and who is fake these days. But we gotta keep trying! They do not have to trust the program I recommend so long as they still do not sign up for these scams.
Thanks for reading. Cheers

I would thoroughly agree with you that this is a scam and you have done a great job in exposing it for what it is; I fancy the alternative that you have proposed in Wealthy Affiliate, seems more legitimate and you have the potential to be successful with it. You do people a great service for exposing scams like these, for what they are, well done.
Medu says
Thank you Adrian! I will keep doing my best to provide more information on these programs to help people make the right decision. Cheers

Hi, Medu
I’m glad I decided to look up for reviews of Traffic PowerLine. Based on this review, it appears to be a total scam so I’ll take your advice and not sign up. I have been a victim of so many companies and I’m getting sick of it. I hope these guys will be shut down soon.
I still am interested in finding opportunities to earn money online though. It looks like your top recommendation is Wealthy Affiliate. I’ve heard about them but can you give me a real take as to why I should actually join them? Please be as honest as possible.
Thanks
Tove
Medu says
Hey Tove,
First of all, I want to commend you for taking the time out to your homework on Traffic Powerline before just deciding to join. It’s unfortunate you have had to go through a lot with scams online, but this attitude of being curious before joining will certainly minimize your chances of falling for these sort of programs. I say minimize because there are certain affiliate websites you might find that will write false positive reviews just to promote their program.
Regarding Wealthy Affiliate, I do not try to be politically correct when I am promoting them. If you need some money to pay your rent at the end of this month, Wealthy Affiliate is not for you. You might find a program that could achieve that for you, but chances are you will be scammed by 5 others first. If your desire is to earn money online for doing no work whatsoever, WA is also not where you should be. I don’t think there is any legitimate program that pays you for no work anyway, regardless of what they tell you before getting you to sign up.
In WA, you pick a niche (could be anything), build a website, write quality content within your niche (like the content I try to write on this website), this quality content brings traffic to your site, and then you make money off the site via your recommendations. That is a simple outline of it, but it is far from easy. The skills to do this is what you learn within Wealthy Affiliate.
For people that are thinking short-term, I always advise they should not join. Short-term thinkers usually want money straight away, and I have only seen a few people that started making money straight away. And even those people had prior online marketing experience. The truth is I cannot tell you how long it will take you to start making money. It could depend on how competitive your chosen niche is, how fast you learn and how often you put in work on your website.
If you are ready to think long-term, you will acquire the skills to build a business online that will earn you consistent income for many years. Another reason you might want to join them, is because the starter membership is free.
I hope that clears up any confusion you might have. Please feel free to ask any more questions
Cheers,
Amedu

What a load of rubbish – and how sad that the only way you can sell your own product is to drag other genuine programs down. Laughable really. I AM a member of TPL and have earned over $1000 in my first two weeks, you just have to be prepared to work at it.
Amedu says
Hi,
I am happy to se you are doing very well for yourself at Traffic PowerLine. Maybe I need to remind you that drug dealers and embezzlers make a lot of money too. Does that make what they do any more legit? I wish you all the best.
Cheers,
Amedu

I’m sorry to hear this man! The problem with RevShares is that a lot of things are at their own discretion. They could choose to pay you or not pay you, they could also choose to shut down the company whenever they want and run with people’s money.
